For the most part, I have found there has been a remarkable change in my ability to stay focussed and remain on task. I have found myself being able to tackle things that previously I would have simply ignored, forgotten or started and failed to complete! I can't express how much more positive I feel about my life going forward. Dr Ghetau's diagnosis has enabled me to do a great deal of reflecting back over my life and so many things now make sense! I have talked a lot to my wife and children who have all supported my endeavours to make changes. I am also continuing to try and learn new strategies and methods to organise my work and private life. Obviously, these things are a work in progress but for the first time in my life, I feel optimistic about the future. I can't thank her enough for her skill and expertise in the are of ADHD she specialises in. After half a century of feeling, I was dragging around the dead weight of a buffalo on my shoulders I am sorry to say I had finally run out of all hope. Without her intervention, at this critical moment, I feel ashamed to say I have serious doubts that I would have to be around to write you this review at all. Dr Elena Ghetau has been looking after me for a few months I cannot speak highly enough of the care and attention I have received which was far over and above I was expecting. She has a professional and an easy manner that makes you feel that you are her only patient. Elena has always taken time out for the video conference meeting to address all issues and none of the consultations seemed rushed. I had quite a few complications with infections cytokine imbalance and ADHD and had been let down by medical community before a few times but I was happy to receive diagnosis, treatment, management plan and top class psychiatric care. Dr Ghetau has a great experience in all sub-specialties of psychiatry (including ASD - autism spectrum disorder) so rest assured you will be well looked after under her care should you need help.

After a lifetime of mental health issues and after another cycle of being suicidal I was reffered to Dr Ghetau. After a few sessions I was diagnosed with ADHD last year, aged 28, much to my surprise! I will never be able to thank her enough for what she discovered and how that knowledge and especialy correct treatment has changed my life is beyond words. Dr Ghetau is easy to speak to, open, friendly and nonjudgemental. I feel like I can really throw everything out there, tell her everything and she totally gets me. She is able to understands what I feel and what I want to explain even if my descriptions are sometimes weak or hard to explain. She also reffered me for ASD screening too, which on more research I believe that is a hidden factor alongside ADHD. On a massive journey of discovering what my mind can do since learning more about my neurodiverse brain and especially since starting the right meds; I just completed a diploma in 3 days and gained 100% mark on every single module and after seeing how well I can study I have enrolled onto a diploma to start in October which I have wanted to do since school. I feel like my mind had been unlocked from adhd-induced mess. Like the calm still after a fire alarm finally gets turned off. I can actually think now. I can't explain how wonderful to be able to finally progress at last. So many years, so many doctors and different consultants mh problems I can't believe Dr Ghetau is the only one who has been able to identify the root cause, the only one to see the telling signs in me to diagnose what was hiding behind my mental health struggles all along. She has a real talent and skill in her work and I will ever be grateful I got lucky enough to be under such a knowledgeable consultant. Thank you Dr Ghetau.

I have had an assessment appointment with Dr Ghetau, who has given me a diagnosis of adult ADHD. I found her to be very professional, easy to talk to and adept at getting the relevant information from someone who can talk a lot! I found her explanations to my questions really easy to understand, she is clearly an expert in her field and I was kept fully informed throughout. I received a private prescription from her on the Monday (my appointment was Friday) and feel confident that she will manage my care as long as I need her to. Thank you! :)

The service was very good and professional. An appointment was made in a matter of days for an assessment which would take years using the NHS. Dr Elena Ghetau was very friendly and was really receptive and sympathetic to the problems I was having.
